Sweet

A gente teve um trabalho bem rápido que era fazer uma fonte. Eu resolvi usar um tema que me cativa muito, e é essencial no meu dia a dia:

We had a quick assignment that was to do a typeface. I decided to use a theme that really moves me, and is essential on my daily life:

Saí atrás dos docinhos, montei as letras e fotografei :)

Quero pôr uns acentos, e os suecos reclamaram que eu não pus o licorice, um maravilhoso (not) doce preto que eles têm aqui. Eu até que tô gostando agora, depois de ganhar muitos e muitos tipos diferentes.

I went after the candy, put together the letters and photographed it :)

I wanna put some accents, and the swedes complained that I didn't use any licorice, a wonderful (not) black candy they have here. I sorta like it by now, after getting a lot of different kinds.

Não parece uma delícia? Tem algo de anis no gosto. Segundo a Aline tem gosto de barata.

Doesn't it look delicious? The taste is a bit like anise. According to my friend Aline, it tastes like cockroaches.

O alfabeto todo.

É isso, mes ami. Foi muito divertido fazer isso.

Estou esperando Mr. Farrensteiner me mandar os vídeos de mim escorregando na neve (estão hilários), assim que tiver posto aqui.

Bom, vou explicar primeiro

A gente teve a primeira neve, que foi bem chatinha...derreteu rápido e me molhou.

Mas a segunda...tempestade de neve!

Vou contar a história em ordem cronológica. Um dia estava assim...

We had the first snow, it was a bit annoying...it melted down really fast and it got me wet.

But the second...snow storm!

I'll tell it in chronological order. One day, it was like this...

Folhas pelo chão, sol lá fora...

Leafs on the ground, the sun shining outside...

E eu estava me vestindo assim. No outro dia...

And I could dress like this. The following day...

Tan tan taaaan! Neve! Do nada! Eu não tinha casaco impermeável, a neve me molhou...começou de manhã e ao meio dia já tinha derretido tudo! Tudo!

E eu pensei...neve não é legal. É chuva gelada.

Umas duas semanas depois eu ouvi um rumor de tempestade de neve, achei que o povo tava mentindo...

Snow! Out of nowhere! I didn't have a snow coat, the snow got me wet...it started in the morning and by noon there was nothing left! Nothing!

And I thought: snow is not cool. It's just frozen rain.

Two weeks later I heard a rumor of a snow storm, I thought people were lying...

Saí de casa e tava assim!

Got outside and it looked like this!

Pai, você que odeia cachorros que são tratados como gente, não veja isso:

É isso, Braseel. Nevou! E agora eu acho que temperatura positiva já é calor.

That's it Brazil. It snowed. And now I think that positive temperatures is hot weather.

A festa do K ou C

Não vou escrever muito porque eu tô com preguiça. Festa a fantasia de novo. Eu fui de gato :)

Deve ter um mês já...

Skansen

O Skansen é tipo uma mistura de museu com zoológico, muito diferente. Tem umas construções históricas que mostram como eram as coisas antigamente na Suécia, e animais da região. Aqui eu mostro a minha experiência, hehehe.

Skansen it's a mix of museum and zoo, very different. There're some historical buildings that show how things used to be in Sweden, and animals that are typical from this region. I'll show you guys my experience:

A gente foi primeiro num lugar que tinha um cara ensinando um rapaz a fazer vidro, ele tava soprando e tudo....tinha o forno e tals.

We went first to a place that was a man teaching this guy hoe to make glass, we was blowing on the ting and all...there was even an glass oven.

Tava tirando minhas fotos e talz, quando cheguei em casa me deparei com essa cena (veja o zoom abaixo)....

I was taking my pictures, and when I came home I saw this (check the zoom below)...

Homem cabeça de vidro....TENSO!

Esse pavão tava tocando o terror numas crianças...eu me pergunto como traduzir "tocando o terror"...

This peacock was scaring some kids...

Cavalinho da Barbie. Vou levar essa crina pro Brasil e fazer fortuna fabricando perucas loiras.

Uma igreja muito muito velha

Dentro da igreja velha, um fato curioso: Um urso de roupa. Me pergunto qual é a mensagem subliminar por trás disso...

Inside the church, something curious: a fully dressed teddy bear. I wonder what's the hidden message behind that...

Nesse dia eu descobri que o Christoffer é tipo uma versão masculina da Branca de neve. Sabe no Shrek que a Branca de neve canta e os animais vem? Um pássaro veio comer na mão dele, o esquilo veio pegar um pedaço de bolacha...ele não gostou muito da comparação, mas que parecia, parecia.

O segundo esquilo que eu vi na vida. Ele não é lindo?

On this day I found out that Christoffer is like a male version of Snow White. Remember that part on Shrek that Snow White sings and the animals come to her? A bird ate on his hand, the squirrel came to get a cookie...he didn't like the comparison, but it really looked like Snow White.

It was the second squirrel I've ever seen. Isn't he cute?

Esse é um Wolverine. Não, ele não é um X-men.

Merecia uma foto: Note o olhar de pavor da mãe correndo com sua criança para longe desse cabelo!

That deserved a picture: Notice the terror on the mom's face running with her child away from that hair!

Essa é uma questão polêmica esse bichinho aqui: é um mink. A maneira que eles são criados parece ser meio cruel, então usar pele de mink por aqui não é muito bem visto. Sempre tem uma organização fazendo campanha para que as pessoas parem de criar e comprar mink. Eu não teria coragem de usar um casaco de pele dessa criaturinha adorável.

This little guy is a polemic subject here: it's a mink. The way that they're breaded here is sorta cruel, so use mink fur isn't well seen. There's this organization that is always doing campaigns so that people will stop buying mink fur. I wouldn't have the heart to use the fur of such an adorable little creature.

Macho alce. Não dá pra ver na foto o tamanho que é esse bicho. Ele tem umas pernas muito compridas.

Male moose. You can't see on the picture the size of this thing. It has really long legs.

Pra mostrar pros meus pais que eu tenho andado bem agasalhada (agora tá bem mais frio, portanto, muito mais roupa).

To show to my parents that I've been walking around in warm clothes (now it's colder, so I wear even more clothes)

E por fim...CU: beleza interior e exterior, huahauhauahuah!

And finally...CU: inner and outer beauty. CU in portuguese means asshole, the body part, hehehe.
